‘We’re stuck with their sh*t’, sexually abused, crushed in 2011 earthquake

Jason thought his babysitter was ‘cool’. But he turned out to be the start of a series of ‘predators’ who sexually violated him. He spiralled into drugs, drink driving and then went to jail. During the devastating February 22, 2011 earthquake he was partially crushed under a boulder. But Jason has managed to claw back his life.

One in six boys will be sexually abused before they are 18.  In this video series, 10 men have told their stories to Challenge the Silence on the issue. All grew up believing they were the only ones it had happened to. Now, they want other victims to know they are not alone and, if they are ready, help is there for them.
