The alleged burglars who rented a motel room under a false name and used it as a base to raid a number of homes reappeared in the district court on Wednesday.

Sharn Robert Noble, Tyson Red Grey, Kieran Levi McGeorge, Alexander James McCormick, Elise Van Dam and Mere Aroha Morgan are all facing a raft of charges.

McCormick and Noble were remanded in custody to reappear on June 1.

Van Dam, Morgan, Grey and McGeorge were remanded on bail until the same date.
