Pupils from Fendalton Open Air School put their hands in their pantries, bringing cans to school for a good cause.

The Wattie’s Cans for Good national food collection campaign run at the school last week – pupils bringing in a donation instead of a coin for mufti day.

The cans have been taken to the Salvation Army to help replenish its food banks by the school’s student council.


DONATION: The school’s student council has taken the cans to The Salvation Army.

LINE UP: Fendalton Open Air School pupils lined up their cans of fruit, baked beans and spaghetti to make the Cans for Good logo.

FOOD: Pupils brought in a food donation instead of a gold coin for their mufti day last week.
