Students’ art tour of the Big Apple

ART: The students from St Margaret's College went through all the famous New York art haunts.

St Margaret’s College students couldn’t get the lyrics to New York, New York out of their heads during their trip to the Big Apple.

Year 11, 12 and 13 performing arts students spent two weeks in the United States enjoying an itinerary jam packed with drama, dance and music workshops.

The girls went on tours of NBC Studios, Radio City, the Broadway Theatre district and other iconic artistic New York haunts.

They were treated to a few Broadway and off-Broadway shows almost every evening.

And to top it off, they went to Times Square, Central Park, Central Station, the 9/11 memorial, One World Observatory, plus the Brooklyn Bridge and the High Line as well as most of Manhattan.
