Past and future brides, family and friends can celebrate their wedding day memories or get ideas for their impending big day in an elegantly-presented Addington Events Centre next weekend.
The Canterbury Bride of The Year gives brides, bridesmaids and flower girls the opportunity to wear their gowns again, win gorgeous prizes and support a national charity helping to fight bowel and liver disease.
Newly-engaged couples and audience members will have a sneak peek at 2018 wedding fashion for brides, bridesmaids, flower girls and mother of the bride and groom, along with the latest trends for men.
The highlight of the evening will be the crowning of the bride, bridesmaid, and flower girl of the year.
Entertained by pianist and singer Mandy Pickering, guests will receive a goody bag, and the opportunity to win fantastic spot prizes and giveaways.
And it’s all in support of a worthy cause, as the event will raise funds for the New Zealand Bowel and Liver Trust, working to beat gut ailments which can cause diseases like Crohn’s disease, bowel disorder and cancer.
New Zealand has one of the highest rates of bowel cancer in the world and it is the second highest cause of death affecting New Zealanders.
The Canterbury Bride of The Year show will be held at the Addington Event Centre on Saturday, July 15.
