A man was rescued from a cliff by helicopter above Boulder Bay on Friday morning.
The man and his girlfriend were out walking when he attempted to climb the cliff side above Boulder Bay and became stuck.
His girlfriend called police about 9.30am and the Westpac Trust Rescue Helicopter was dispatched.
The woman was able to meet police and lead them to the spot where the man was stuck.
He was then plucked from the hillside by the helicopter, which winched him to safety.
His girlfriend was waiting with police on the hilltop near the gun emplacement, where the helicopter dropped him off.
He was uninjured.
